Playing for the Beaverton Rotary Club’s annual wine auction and dinner a few weeks ago was what finally convinced me that I should play regularly for events of all kinds. I had received appreciative comments before, but this time was different. I really heard that my music had elevated the quality of the event. I realized that doing this is my mission — contributing something which helps people feel better and be more at ease, with themselves and with each other. This is what music can do. This is what I do.
